My Review
Sanctuary is book 2 in the Mad World series. It picks up 5 years after Epidemic ends. Luke is a zombie/human hybrid and Alyssa, Jake and the others have been on the run trying to protect him from being grabbed by the government. A late night knock on the door sends them running again, this time heading for a place called Sanctuary across the border in Canada. They lose one of their own and pick up an addition to the family along the way. Things settle but don’t get much better. The world continues to fall to the zombie virus with no cure in sight. I became even more attached to the characters in this, the second book. The ending left me shocked and almost in tears. Book 3 can not come fast enough! Another 5/5!
