The Tale of the Tooth Fairy Review

About the Illustrator and Author

The artist and designer, Marykate Fleming, spent the first half of her career in the children’s clothing business creating wonderful collections and branding – to name a few: Oshkosh b’Gosh, Health-Tex, Buster Brown, Le Top and Nieman Marcus-Private Label

The tiny details of every button and bow were a priority in creating the perfect little outfit for baby. Beatrix Potter for Peter Rabbit and Friends inspired a love for watercolor and in turn, developed into watercolor gifts for friends and family. One little frame as a gift lead to another and MK and Company was born. This same attention has been given to her new collection of charming music boxes.

Brian has a long history of story telling, creating fanciful stories for his daughter, Emily. The Tale of the Tooth Fairy is his first published work.

My Review

I’ve always loved the Tooth Fairy. Such a cute way to teach kids about growing up and taking care of their teeth. My boys are at the prime Tooth Fairy age right now, they are 5 and 7. My 5 year old hasn’t lost any teeth yet but my 7 year old has lost 2 so far. He gets so excited to put his tooth under his pillow and then see what the TF leaves him in the morning. This story book with the chart in the back is so cute! The illustrations are really bright and vibrant and the story is very sweet. We put the fairy with the pouch up on a shelf in the bedroom, so when they lose a tooth we can put it in there and it’s easier for me and their dad to find the tooth lol. This wold make a great gift for the special kid in your life =]
