My Review
This was very much not your typical novel about angels. This story centered around Lucifer and his daughters, and the fallen angel’s conflicts with the Creator and his brethren. This book unfolds pretty quickly, but manages to stay out of the realm of the “typical” or tacky good versus evil story line. The characters were modern and layered such that even if you don’t like a particular character, you still want to keep reading to know what happens next. The setting, Pasadena California, is described with such clarity that you want to be there feeling what the characters feel in their surroundings. I was really drawn into the storyline, I had my favorites and not so favorites in the players in the book, and I am very anxious for the next installment! The ending was a bit of a surprise and I have no idea what will happen next, but I know it will be good!

When I’m not writing I can be found kayaking, hiking, ninja-training, traveling, and taking a ferry over to the San Juan Islands to search for the elusive creature known as the “Orca.” I also am constantly adding ridiculous wants, needs, must-see’s and do’s to my ever expanding bucket book.
