My review
I was quite shocked to learn that this was Billy Jolie’s first book! Edgy, fierce and dark I was completely blown away by this story. The flow of the book was easy to follow and the buildup to the conclusion was intense. This is not a book that’s easy to set aside for more than a few minutes. I was easily drawn into the character’s dramatic lives and found myself loving and hating them alternately. I get kind of tired of reading supposedly suspenseful books that almost always have happy ever after endings. This definitely is not a happy every after and honestly that was refreshing.
