The Enchanted River Race Review

When eleven-year-old Amy Lorovia is chosen to captain her district’s ship in her village’s enchanted river race, she anticipates a friendly romp down the river. She quickly discovers, however, the race is anything but friendly, and she finds herself facing mystical landscapes, magical obstacles, and cutthroat competition. With the help of her two best friends, Amy must rise to the occasion or risk continuing her district’s decades-long losing streak.

My Review

This was a great story! My 7 and 5 year old boys LOVED this. It’s a great adventure with a few lessons along the way. Riddles, imagination and lots of twists and turns make for a very entertaining read for children of almost any age. Friendship and teamwork are values learned through this story. I highly recommend this book to every parent for their kids 🙂
