In an attempt to relieve his own sore throat and those of his family members, Mr. Pine, a former German confectionery maker, determined that by combining the soothing natural qualities of glycerin with the healing properties of gum acacia, he could sooth and mitigate the mild discomfort of a sore throat. Add in some natural flavoring and a sweetener and voila, Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops were born.

My Review
My household goes through A LOT of cough drops. I mean A LOT! With the cold dry weather, allergies and my husband being a smoker, we should buy stock in cough drop companies. I am always looking for new kinds and flavors of cough drops. My husband likes the mentholated ones and me and my boys do not, so we have to buy different ones for everyone. I jumped at the chance to review the Pine Bros. throat drops. These are really different! The flavors are just sweet enough without being sickeningly sweet. I got Wild Cherry and Natural Honey. We all liked both flavors, which is pretty rare here lol. These are softish, which is different, but in a good way. My boys tend to try to crunch stuff, so with these I know they won’t be busting up their teeth. Pine Bros really work too. They relieve the constant coughing and sooth the throat really nicely. I’ve shared some with friends and family and everyone seems to really like them!
