My review

I was given a NetTalk to try in exchange for an honest review. It was shipped and arrived quickly. I’m pretty tech savvy so set-up was easy enough. There was an issue with registering my 911 address but I’ve since learned that that probably had something to do with using Chrome. I emailed my contact and customer support fixed the problem quickly. It took about 5 more minutes after that to set it the rest of the way up. I didn’t even try to port our old number because we were ready for a new phone number anyways, so I can’t speak to that aspect of it. We were able to pick the area code and exchange that we wanted for the new phone number. We live in a rural, mountainous area so our internet can be a little glitchy and that seems to affect the Nettalk some. When all my lights are lit up the service works as good as my previous service did without having the bill every month. We are moving next summer so the portability of the NetTalk will be nice, we will be able to keep this number long enough for family and friends to get a new number from us.
