Emerson Creek Pottery has been making handmade, hand painted pottery pieces since 1977 in Virginia They make their own clay and everything is fired in their gas kiln. No templates or stencils are used, every design is done by hand. They currently feature 13 different lines of ceramic pottery. All of their pieces are microwave, oven and dishwasher safe as well as being lead free.

My Review
I’m obsessed with everything and anything coffee. So of course I picked the Latte Mug when Emerson Creek offered me a review. I have a lot of different coffee mugs and I’m always looking for new colors and designs. I’m also really partial to the color blue. The piece was packed and shipped very nicely, no wiggle room, and it arrived in perfect condition. This mug is gorgeous. I love that it’s 16 oz. I honestly don’t see the point of small coffee cups lol. The color is beautiful and I love the changes in color at the top that show that this is an original piece. It’s nice and heavy too, not fragile like some of the smaller cups. My biggest problem is keeping it away from my husband and my mom. I use this mug for coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even just for plain milk or soda. I really love this mug and I’ll be using it for a long time to come I’m sure.
