Daddy Scrubs® is the offspring of Robert Nickell, who fathered his first four children more than 20 years ago. DaddyScrubs® was conceived when Robert, who remarried in 2007, discovered he was about to be a father all over again in the fall of 2009!
Not wanting to endure the pains of wearing uncomfortable street clothes while comforting his laboring wife, Robert hatched the idea of creating doctor-like scrubs for himself. It seemed a natural thing for him to do — since Robert is a pharmacist by profession.
To eliminate the confusion between “who’s the doctor” and “who’s the daddy,” Robert fashioned the concept of “I’m The Daddy®” medical scrubs.

I got a set of the scrubs to review in exchange for my honest opinion
The Review
Our very good friends just had baby #2. A little girl! They have a 6 year old little boy already. I was so excited to get Daddy Scrubs for the new daddy to be. I couldn’t wait to give them to him. The plan was to give him the scrubs before they went in to have the baby, mommy had a scheduled C-section. But of course the baby had different plans LOL. The day the Daddy Scrubs arrived I had gotten a text about 2 hours prior that they were headed to the hospital. Baby Alayna just couldn’t wait to make her appearance in the world lol. So I finally got to give the daddy the scrubs the next day. So no OR pics 🙁 But we got pics with daddy and baby 🙂 The scrubs were very comfortable for Alan, the daddy, to wear. He’s been wearing them quite a bit since the hospital and says he loves them! They are easy to care for, regular machine wash and dry, so no extra work for mom or dad. These are such an original and cute idea. I wish we had known about these when we had our boys. DaddyScrubs gets a big big 5/5 from us here!
